The 2018 Mojave Pinot Noir from the Hicks Vineyard in Santa Cruz Mountains is stunningly gorgeous. It begins with striking aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries, plum, pomegranate which combine with dark soil, exotic spice and hints of smoke. This is elegant and pure, with a delicious core of fresh red berries and spices that are framed by gorgeous acidity which pesists through the finish. Simply put, this is a completely thrilling bottle of Pinot Noir from Mojave and winemaker Rebecca George.
